Today's Journey: Bringing What We Hide into the Light
One of the most important steps in healing is being honest about the things we've been carrying and identifying the areas of our lives that we need to surrender to God.
This session isn't about shame, guilt, or judgment. It's about freedom.
Before I ask you to do that, I want to do it first. In this lesson, I share my own testimony, my struggles, my brokenness, and the journey that led me back to God's grace. There was a time when I was deeply wounded by life. I believed the lies spoken over me, accepted far less than I deserved, and based my worth on my pain rather than on God's truth.
As you listen to my story, I want to encourage you to be vulnerable and honest with yourself. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas where you may be seeking comfort, control, or identity in something other than God. Whether it's fear, approval, unhealthy relationships, perfectionism, addiction, bitterness, or anything else, don't be afraid to name it.
What remains hidden often keeps us bound, but when we bring it into God's light, He begins the work of healing and restoration. There is no condemnation here only grace, truth, and the loving invitation of a Father who wants to make you whole.
Today, take the first step. Bring your burdens, your struggles, and your pain before God, trusting that He already knows your heart and loves you completely.
““If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.” ”

Reflection Question:
What am I holding onto that I need to bring into God's light today?
Guided Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Today I come before You with an open heart. You know my story, my pain, and the things I've been carrying. Nothing is hidden from You.
Lord, give me the courage to bring every burden, every fear, and every stronghold into Your light. Replace the lies I have believed with Your truth, and remind me that I am loved, chosen, and never beyond Your grace.
Holy Spirit, begin Your healing work in me. Give me wisdom, strength, and peace as I walk this journey with You. Help me trust that You are restoring what has been broken and making all things new.
Thank You for Your unfailing love and for never leaving my side.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
