Why I Believe in Jesus Christ

There was a time when I didn't believe my life could amount to anything.

At five years old, I lost my mother.

At fifteen, I lost my father.

Those losses left wounds that followed me for years. I carried deep feelings of abandonment, rejection, and loneliness. I spent much of my life searching for love, acceptance, and worth in all the wrong places. The pain I carried led me into a life filled with lies, addictions, poor choices, and a constant belief that I was never enough.

I didn't believe in myself.

I couldn't see a future worth fighting for.

And if I'm honest, there were moments when I felt forgotten.

But God never forgot me.

When Jesus Christ entered my life, everything began to change.

He found me in my brokenness. He met me in my shame. He loved me when I felt unlovable. He chose me when I hadn't even chosen myself.

Little by little, He began healing the wounds I had carried since childhood. He broke the chains of addiction that had controlled my life. He replaced my lies with truth, my fear with faith, and my hopelessness with purpose.

The woman I am today is living proof that Jesus still transforms lives.

I was a struggling single mother making one bad decision after another. There were seasons when I neglected the very things that mattered most because I was so lost myself. Yet even in those moments, God never gave up on me.

Instead, He whispered something I never expected:

"I will use you."

Not when I was perfect.

Not when I had everything together.

Not when I finally became worthy.

He chose to use me exactly as I was a broken woman in desperate need of grace.

That is the beauty of the Gospel.

God specializes in redemption.

He takes shattered pieces and creates something beautiful. He takes pain and turns it into purpose. He takes stories filled with mistakes and rewrites them with hope.

Today, my life is a testimony of His restoring power.

My journey has inspired me to write my book, a story of God's faithfulness through every loss, every mistake, every addiction, and every battle. It is proof that no one is too broken, too far gone, or too damaged for God's love.

This blog is for every woman who feels abandoned.

For every single mother carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders.

For every person who believes their mistakes have disqualified them from God's purpose.

I want you to know what I have learned:

God can redeem your story.

God can restore what has been lost.

God can heal what feels impossible to heal.

And God can use you in ways you never imagined.

If He could do it for me, He can do it for you.

I am walking proof.

Welcome to this journey with me.

Let's discover together what happens when we stop looking at our brokenness and start trusting God's ability to restore.

{If you're a single mom or someone who has struggled with loss, addiction, or feeling forgotten, I'd love to hear your story in the comments. Let's encourage one another and grow in faith together.}

With love,
