Why Grace Journal exsists !!
Welcome to my Grace Journal
When sitting with the blueprint of my website there were so many ideas I had. It was such an exciting and overwhelming feeling at once. I always knew that I needed some form of a blog page but I didn’t want the typical posts.
Anyone who knows me, when I talk about something I am passionate about I can go on for hours on end. My very close friend once joked at our Bible study I need a timer. Not really a joke as it was the truth. I knew what ever topic I would choose it really had to be spot on because this area would be were I share my own personal journey and encounters to encourage other single moms, or just any female that resonates with me, wherever you find yourself in this season of your life.
For years I ran away from all my pain and problems, I hid away by being intoxicated most of the time, and it destroyed me from the inside year after year. These journal entries will always be personal but will never be meant to intentionally harm and hurt anyone. Everything I share has nothing to do with people, but everything to do with how I rebuild with Grace after they occurred.
A friend asked me a very important question, from what perspective am I writing my Book or even using my You Tube and Website. It was such a easy answer and that was when I knew it was aligned with God. The answer flowed calmly. I write from a place of rebuilding, not a place of blame or anger. I try my best to keep the integrity of everyone that has been involved. The story is not about who did what but what did God do afterwards with that mess.
The reality is that I never mention names or go into detail, but if I make a statement for example about my ex-husband, there are many people who know who that is and that is facts. The main focus for me is that I remember that we do not fight against flesh or blood, but the dark principalities of this world. My fight is spiritual not worldly.
So please join me on this beautiful journey God has placed me on, to help Single Mothers rebuild after losing everything. Thank you for the space were I can be vulnerable as well and share my testimony with you as encouragement.
Lets Keep Rebuilding!!!!
